From 1970 to about 1985 I was fully into making pimitive self bows (from NZ native woods) and arrows and hunting with this equipment.Then my life changed and I took off in anouther direction until about three years ago, when my life did anouther flip flop and I pulled out all my old stuff and getting stoked again. abouy the same time I descovered Primitive Archer and Paleo planet. For the last couple of years I've been building selfbows and arrows again and having some success hunting small game. With what I have learned from these sources and the TBB series, The 20 odd bows I've built over the last couple of years are for the most part, way better than the ones I used to make.since I've descovered Paleoplanet Ive just been listening in to other people's discusions. As soon as I can get familier with this, to me, new technology and how to work it, I would like enter int some discussions and make contact with some of you out there.
